Tennis court drag nets

Drag nets are the maintenance tool used by tennis players after a match. They help to level the tennis court and fill in small holes. When used correctly, the clay is kept on the court and not piled up at the edges.

Drag nets are made from long, UV-stabilized PVC fabrics that are durable. These fabrics come in heavier and lighter weights. Heavier fabrics have a smaller mesh size and transport more loose sand, while lighter fabrics have larger mesh sizes and leave more tennis court sand behind. The trade-off here is greater leveling effectiveness versus lighter weight and easier handling.

The guide beams are made of either hardwood or aluminum. Aluminum has the advantage of not weathering, while the wooden beam has the ideal shape for pulling the net across the playing surface. Together with the 3.50 m long tow ropes, they ensure that the nets can be pulled flat across the tennis court.

All parts of a trawl net are also available as spare parts to extend the product's lifespan and ensure sustainability.

Special squeegee mats with rubber nubs roughen even harder tennis court surfaces, and there are also squeegee mats for artificial turf courts. A specially shaped squeegee mat helps remove leaves from the tennis court surface, a task that would be time-consuming with a normal drag net.
