Warranty conditions:
The manufacturer's warranty conditions apply: Rain Bird Deutschland GmbH, Königstraße 10 c, 70173 Stuttgart.

7.1. Subject to Article 7.4 below and excluding the products mentioned in Article 7.2 below, Rain Bird guarantees, for a period of three years from the date of manufacture, the replacement of products that prove to be defective as a result of normal use.

The defective products must be returned in full to Rain Bird.

7.2. Subject to Article 7.4 below, Rain Bird guarantees the replacement of products that prove to be defective as a result of normal use for a period of three years from the date of manufacture. The following are excluded:

Green space irrigation products: 1800 series pop-up sprinklers, U series nozzles, PA-8S nozzles, 1400 bubbler, 5000 series sprinklers, 8005 series sprinklers and Falcon® 6504 series sprinklers, PEB/PESB and DV/DVF plastic valves, VB series valve boxes and XF* series drip lines – 5 years; XLR Water Jet series sprinklers – 1 year; all other green space irrigation products – 3 years

Golf course irrigation products: Golf course sprinklers: EAGLE™ and EAGLE IC™ series, Rain Bird® and Rain Bird IC™ series – 3 years. Additionally, any EAGLE™ and EAGLE IC™ series, Rain Bird and Rain Bird IC™ series golf course sprinkler sold and installed with a Rain Bird Swing Joint – 5 years. Proof of simultaneous installation is required. Swing Joints – 5 years; remote control valves and brass quick-connect valves and wrenches, filter system controllers, TSM-3 SDI12 soil sensor (ISS) – 3 years; all other golf products including aerators – 1 year

Agricultural irrigation products: Pressure-compensating AG drip line A5 PC, sprinklers of the LF™ and LFX™ series, brass oscillating sprinklers – 5 years; plastic oscillating sprinklers – 2 years; all other agricultural irrigation products – 1 year.

The warranty period begins on the date of manufacture. Rain Bird reserves the right to request the return of products declared defective.

7.3. The warranty described in Articles 7.1 and 7.2 is limited, at Rain Bird's discretion, to the replacement or repair of the defective product or parts. The customer is responsible for the shipping costs of the defective products. Warranty work does not extend the warranty period.

7.4. Warranty Exclusions. The Rain Bird warranty does not apply in the following cases:

- If the defect or damage is due to normal wear and tear, negligence, improper or abnormal use, use not in accordance with Rain Bird's operating conditions, defective or non-compliant maintenance or assembly, disassembly or reinstallation, or failure at any time to comply with the specifications regarding the product's environment and power supply. In this regard, it is reiterated that Rain Bird products are water-lubricated and must be assembled and installed without the addition of any chemical products;

- In the event of incidents due to unforeseen events, force majeure or circumstances beyond Rain Bird's control, including but not limited to malfunctions of electrical installations or telecommunications services, strikes, war, insurrection or natural disasters.

7.5. Warranty for replaced parts under the exchange program. Rain Bird will replace replacement parts included in the Rain Bird "Standard Exchange Program" that prove to be defective as a result of normal use for a period of six months from the invoice date.

7.6. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Rain Bird's liability is in any case limited to the value of the products in question. Liability is limited to material damages, excluding all non-material damages (such as, in particular, loss of profits, loss of use, commercial disadvantages, additional costs, etc.). The customer is not entitled to any further sums, as the aforementioned amount represents the maximum compensation that Rain Bird may provide to the customer. In any case:

- the customer must take all reasonable measures to reduce his damages,

- the customer must not take any inappropriate initiative that could worsen his damage.

This limitation does not apply to bodily injury or to damage caused by intentional or grossly negligent conduct.

7.7. Geographical scope: European Union

7.8. In this regard, the customer shall take all necessary measures, in particular with possible insurance, to protect himself both materially and intangibly beyond the compensation mentioned above.
